I was always intimidated by making a Satay Sauce but it's unbelievably easy! We finished this Chicken Burger off with our Bravado Chilli Pepper!
Our Bravado Chilli Pepper adds a delicious heat to any meal, produced with Red Peppers, Chillies & Scotch Bonnet Peppers.
Here's what you'll need:
1/2 lime, juiced
1 teaspoon clear honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon curry powder
3 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter
Chicken Thigh Fillets (1 per person, trust me it's filling - feel free to double up though)
2 tablespoons curry powder
Brioche Buns (1 per person)
Lettuce to garnish
Bravado Chilli Pepper
Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl. Add a splash of hot water water if it’s too stiff, be careful to not add too much. Leave it to rest while you prepare the burger.
Pour a tablespoon of oil into a non stick pan over medium heat. (skillets or stainless steel pans also work).
Season each side of your chicken thigh fillets with curry powder and place them in the pan, cook evenly.
Toast your brioche buns, spread your mayo on the bottom layer and garnish with lettuce. Spread your Bravado Chilli Pepper on the upper layer.
Add your thigh fillets and pour on your satay sauce.
