Here's what you'll need:
450g self raising flour
2 tsp salt
1 red pepper
4 tbsp Kickin' & Smokin'
170g cheddar cheese
1 garlic clove
Preheat oven to 220oC. Grease a 1kg loaf tin. Sift flour and salt into a bowl and run the butter in until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Wash and chop your pepper & leek and chop finely. Crush garlic and grate cheese coarsely. Add pepper, leek, garlic and cheese to flour.
Beat egg and milk together, add gradually to dry ingredients and form a soft dough. Knead lightly and quickly on a floured table, then shape into an oblong.
Place in the loaf tine and bake in a hot oven for about 55 minutes.
