Crinkle cut fries are my all time favourite fry for one reason only... Their ability to hold Kickin' & Smokin'. More edges, more surface area and more flavour create a crispier fry.
We call our Kickin' & Smokin' a savoury jam but its more like a dipping sauce. Don't worry, we're working on it.
Our Kickin' & Smokin is produced with Red Onions, Apples, Peppers, Chillies, Garlic & Spanish Smoked Paprika.
Here's what you'll need:
400g maris piper potatoes
kickin' & smokin' (to serve)
Peel the potatoes, wash them and pat dry. Using a crinkle cutter, cut the potatoes into slices, then cut them into individual fries.
Transfer the fries to a bowl. Add olive oil, salt, and pepper on top. I tend to go heavy on the salt and pepper.
Transfer the fries to a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Lay them flat so that they don't overlap. Bake for around 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with Kickin' & Smokin'.
