ingredients
- Brioche
- Milk x 200ml
- Large Eggs x 2
- Cinnamon x 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla Essence x 1 teaspoon
- Salted Butter x 1 Tablespoon
- Caster Sugar x 1 Tablespoon
- Icing Sugar
- Double Cream
- Espresso Martini Marmalade
STEP ONE:
Combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar & vanilla into a dish and whisk to form a custard.
Dip the brioche slices into the custard and let the bread soak on each side for 30 seconds.
STEP TWO:
Preheat a frying pan with a tablespoon of butter over a low flame. Cook for 8-10 minutes on each side or until both sides are crispy and the bread is no longer soggy.
STEP THREE:
Slice and fry figs in butter for a minute on each side. Remove French toast and figs from the pan and serve with cream and Espresso Martini Marmalade.
