About Our Rogues
In 2017, Rogue was created on the kitchen table at Asher’s home in Clydach Vale.
Originally a Welsh mining village it has been described as a ‘wooded glen’ of ‘great natural beauty’, in the Rhondda Valleys, South Wales.
As the official ‘taste tester’ of the household, Asher’s passion for food and cooking started young. After years of ensuring curries were perfectly spiced and brownies were at their best, he took to travelling, visiting numerous cafes and patisseries in search of good food.
Inspired and with help from his mum, Asher was determined to create his own interesting, high quality food.
Enjoy Rogue was born.
Collaborating with other passionate Welsh food producers and experimenting with traditional flavours and textures is what makes Rogue’s innovative approach to chutneys, jams and marmalades so special.
And rest assured, all their products are vegan and the majority are free from major allergens.
Rogue believes that life should be fun and indulgent. Asher points out that you may not always need 15 ingredients to make a meal - just a dollop of Rogue.
A little luxury really can go a long way.
From humble beginnings, Rogue has been taken to the next level with SALSA accredited production.
Using their own recipes, tried and tested by loyal customers, Asher and his mum, Anita are now able to supply to more retailers, hotels and restaurants; however, their core principle of ‘handmade in small batches’ remains the same.
